This is a small, personal blog. I'm not in the data-mining business — I'm in the "share what I use with people who care about clean living" business. Still, the internet works the way it works, so here's a clear rundown of what gets collected when you visit, what I do with it, and what's never on the table.
The short version
If you visit the site and don't sign up for anything, I know almost nothing about you beyond very basic, anonymous analytics. If you join the newsletter, I have your email and your first name (if you give it). I never sell your information. I never share it with anyone except the services that help me run the site (like my email platform). That's the whole story.
Information I collect
There are really only two ways I collect anything:
- Information you give me directly. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you'll share your email address (and optionally your name). If you email me at info@allgoodwithaneesa.com, I'll have whatever's in that email.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this one uses analytics tools that record basic, anonymous things — pages visited, how long you stay, what country you're in, what kind of device you're on. None of it identifies you personally.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are tiny text files your browser stores. This site uses a few categories:
- Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, if and when enabled) — to understand what content people enjoy so I can make more of it.
- Affiliate tracking cookies — when you click an affiliate link (Amazon, LTK, ShopMy, or a brand partner), that network drops a cookie so it can credit me with the referral if you make a purchase. These cookies don't track what's in your medicine cabinet — they just know you came from my site.
You can clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings. The site will still work fine.
How I use your information
- To send the newsletter you signed up for.
- To reply if you email me.
- To understand which posts and recipes are landing so I can write more of what you want.
- To keep the site running and secure.
What I will never do
- Sell your email address. Ever.
- Share your information with brands or advertisers.
- Spam you. The newsletter goes out occasionally, and there's an unsubscribe link in every single email.
Third-party services I rely on
Running a site means leaning on a few outside tools. The ones that may touch your data include:
- Email platform (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar) — to send the newsletter.
- Affiliate networks — Amazon Associates, LTK, ShopMy, and direct brand partners use cookies to track referrals.
- Analytics — for anonymous visitor stats.
- Hosting and CDN providers — to serve you the site.
Each of these has its own privacy policy. They're reputable, but if you want the full picture, look them up by name.
Your rights
You're in charge of your information. At any time you can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Request a copy of any information I have about you.
- Request deletion of your information from my records.
Just email me at info@allgoodwithaneesa.com and I'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults — generally folks shopping for their families, homes, and kitchens. It is not directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, please email me and I'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If anything meaningful changes, I'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and (if it's a big change) mention it in the newsletter. Quietly tweaking things in the dark isn't really my style.
