Hi, I'm Aneesa. Before we get into the legal-ish bits, I want to say this in plain English: I take your trust seriously. This site only exists because real people like you read it, try the things I recommend, and (hopefully) come back. So here's exactly how the business side works.
An affiliate link is a special link that lets a brand know you came from my site. If you click through and end up buying something, the brand pays me a small commission. It doesn't cost you a penny extra. The price is the same whether you use my link or not.
You'll find affiliate links throughout my blog posts, shop pages, recipe round-ups, codes page, and on my social channels. Sometimes they're text links, sometimes buttons, sometimes product images. If you'd rather not use one, you can always search the product on your own. No hard feelings.
I partner with a handful of affiliate networks and brands, including:
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
The discount codes on my codes page are real perks. The brand gives me a code to share with my community — you save money at checkout, and I earn a small commission for sending you their way. It's a win for you, a win for the brand, and a small thank-you to me for the recommendation. Everyone leaves happy.
This is the part that matters most: I only share products I've personally tried and would buy again with my own money. If a brand sends me something for free to test and I don't love it, you won't see it on the site. Full stop.
Sometimes a brand pays for a dedicated post or sends a product as a gift — when that happens, I'll always say so clearly in the post itself. Sponsored content is labeled. Gifted items are labeled. You'll never have to guess.
This disclosure is here in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising — specifically 16 CFR Part 255. The FTC requires bloggers, influencers, and content creators to disclose material connections to the brands and products they recommend. That includes affiliate commissions, free product, paid sponsorships, and anything else of value.
I'd disclose it anyway, because that's how I'd want to be treated as a reader. But for the record: yes, this is the legally required notice.
If you click a link on this site and buy something, I might earn a small commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra. I only recommend things I genuinely use and love. If I don't love it, it's not here.
Thanks for reading, thanks for clicking, and thank you for trusting me with your inbox, your medicine cabinet, and your kitchen. It means everything.
